Ministry Launches Youth Wellness Lounge to Support Youth Health and Wellbeing

The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information and Arts has officially launched the Youth Wellness Lounge, a modernized initiative designed to enhance youth health services. The lounge, a rebranded version of the former Youth Health Café, promises improved services and a more engaging environment for young people seeking support.

Operating every Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the Youth Wellness Lounge is located at the Social Centre. Young people can access services by walking in during opening hours or booking an appointment by calling 4000505.

The initiative offers a range of services, including individual health screenings, one-on-one consultations, personalized health education sessions, small group discussions, and awareness and outreach programs. These services aim to empower youth with the knowledge and resources necessary for a healthier lifestyle.

The rebranding reflects a commitment to providing a more dynamic and youth-friendly space, ensuring better accessibility and higher-quality services. The Ministry encourages young people to utilize the lounge as a safe and supportive environment to discuss and address their health concerns.
